Still not sure when i am going to transplant the plants into the greenhouse and poly tunnel. They are closed all day/night long, so the soil is warming up. But the nights are still cold so i will wait a few more days with moving them there.

Wednesday, April 12 View Page
I transplanted the 2145 today into the greenhouse, added myco and AZOS. 2307 will be transplanted a few days later, because in the poly tunnel is not as warm as in greenhouse.

Thursday, April 20 View Page
Nothing much happening here, 2307 is still in airpot. It has been cold this last few days and in the next two day is forecasted frost.

Thursday, April 20 View Page
2145 is growing slow due too cold nights. Little hoop house in the greenhouse, together with candles to give some heat during the nights.

Friday, April 21 View Page
frost everywhere outside, but inside the 2145 had 4 candles, so all ok. Despite the curly start, the first true leaf is more than beautiful.

Finally transplanted the pumpkins to the patch, here 2x 2307 Wallace, growing head to head, one i got from friend Uros Fifolt, because she grew slow and decided not to plant and gave me the plant.

this is 1536 Lovse, also problems, few days ago the main vine started to twist and grow back, no chance to straiten her. So the main was removed, now the two sidevines are competing for the new main. Head to head growing another 1536, that was planted last week. On this picture still the old main vine.

Well, let me say that all 3 plants will have sid vine growing for new main vine. The end of main vine, burned by sun completely....never before had this and i am very angry. So now side vine is slowly growing for new main vine, but i will lose for sure 10days.

This year i had all possible problems that can happen to a grower. But the situation is getting better i have finally a pumpkin on 2145 side vine, trained as new main....for the second year in a row. This must change next year. Pollinated on July 25, on picture DAP 7

Tuesday, July 4 View Page
2307 started to grow better now, one pollination aborted, so the is one open pollination on the pumpkin, from July 2nd.....we were on vacation, so i couldn't pollinate.

Tuesday, July 4 View Page
on 1536 still no pumpkins, one pollination did not work, the one before was destroyed by magpie....so now i will pollinate a few on side vines, because on main there is no pumpkin to see

Friday, July 21 View Page
As there were not enough other problems, i seems 2145 plant also has virus. I found some eco product that suppresses pathogens, viruses and diseases. I must say the new growth is normal. Pumpkin 25 days old and growing normal.
