Plant has it's first pumping getting ready to open in a couple of days. Pumpkin is about 13' out on the main and I'm so excited! It's been 108 for several days and plant survived!   Saturday, July 8 View Page Heat is back on with 105 yesterday. Hopefully this pumpkin holds on.   Monday, July 10 View Page Culled my first pumpkin set on the main 6/29. Now I have his one set 7/5 some 20+ feet out on the main. Plant is so big I'm letting more side vine pumpkins to set just to reduce the chances of blowing this one up.   Wednesday, July 12 View Page I have high hopes for this pumpkin. Has ok shape but it's to early to tell if it will continue to shape up. Plant is almost grown out to the edges and terminated. I was surprised to see the growth continued. 30 day measurements, 263" OTT.
