I have been remiss this year with my diary. Work and school have kept me very busy. Time for some pictures. My dog wondering what I have been doing all season?

Earlier in the season we had a bad storm. Came out to find a huge whole in my hoop house, and my dog in there going crazy.

I have some plastic pipe cut up that I stick in the ground to help with watering around the plants. Some how a bird got through the hole in the hoop house, and ended up in one of the pipes.

I really like the shape of this one. First time I have grew one like that. I was excited as it grew, but when I picked it I knew. The inside of the circle wasn't filled in enough. It was 24 1/2" around. I think I might grow some seeds from this next year just to see if the shape comes back.

This will be the heaviest one I grow this year. It came in at 5 lbs. on the dot. I grew this one off of the 5.40 May. Maybe next year. Oddly this one was 24 1/2" around.

I tried my hand at giant bell peppers this year. The monsoon rains we had at the start of the season decimated all of my pepper plants. They are just now producing. I am behind on my hot sauce this year. This one weighed in at a paltry 180 grams. I have a long way to go. I have one, maybe two, more that should weigh more than this one still growing.

I grew some giant cucumbers this year as well. This one weighed 16 lbs. on the dot, and was 30 1/3" long.

This was my heaviest one this year. It weighed 17.6 lbs./17 lbs. 9 oz., and was 34" long. We had a really windy storm one night, and this one broke off during the night at the vine. It still had a few weeks left in it. Might have gone heavier if it didn't break. Oh well.

This one only came in at 14.4 lbs./14 lbs. 6.4 oz., and was 29 1/4" long. I can say that I will grow them again next year. I have some ideas to make things easier. I will be shooting for 18-19 lbs.

I also decided to grow some giant sunflower seeds. All the seeds came from wide heads. What I read said that they should be between 10-12 feet tall. Well of the 4 that grew this one is easily 13-14 feet. I know that is small compared to some of them that you guys grow, but I have never seen one this tall in person before. All four of them are still growing, and only one of them has any promise for a good width.
