This pumpkin has been a joy to grow, the plant was great, started off slow and just never quit. Probably the pumpkin I will ever grow that is associated with a governance body. After this year I will just grow pumpkins that are going after the world record without some rules that are not enforced. More a reason to question why a "prominent group" refuses to openly address questions. You can hide, but cannot avoid what is real. These are Hans Pumpkins, they are all grown without a tunnel or green house in Germany, the biggest is 1290 lbs one of the biggest ever grown in Germany outside. So the bottom line is that you can have a secret weigh off and have pumpkins from a previous weigh off get the prize money. The prominent committee that has allowed this will never make progress if they do not address this.
