I have entered the 150 square foot challenge. This will be my first year growing. The hoop house is ready and the seeds are germinating. I have started two seeds and they are both Vincent - McGill (993 & 1059).

993 seed germinated and seems to be a keeper. Was worried at first as it only had one cot. The 1059 didn't germinate so my backup will be the 1195 Kaminski. Trying for a nice orange fruit for my 150 Sq foot challenge.

Hoop house removed. Decided to go with the 1195 kaminski. The 993 Vincent McGill had a kinked main and was split on the side.

Plant growing well despite drought conditions. One pumpkin pollinated X self. Another one should be ready in about a week and will pollinate that one as well and then decide which one to keep for my 150 Sq foot challenge.

Had to put some sand under the 1195 today. Will slowly adjust in order to give it some room as it is close to the boundary of my 150 Sq foot area

I'm a couple days behind in posting this most recent photo. Pumpkin is now 21 days old for my 150 Sq foot challenge. Busy weekend as we attended the OVGPG patch tour on Sunday and had a great time. They are great hosts. For anyone interested the MGPG is this weekend! Hoping for a good turnout.
