I'm trying to post different content to different locations. Feel free to like my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PumpkinFanatics/ and you can find additional photos and information here: http://www.pumpkinfanatic.com/ It seems like I have different audiences at different sites so I'll try to keep everyone informed at all three places, but I do try to have different photos or content at each. "Big and Orange" is theme this year!

This is a VERY late pollination. All of the pumpkins on this plant (1030.5 Debacco) have a long barrel shape fruit which I love. This is also the darkest yellow pumpkin that I have grown or seen at this stage. I am really looking forward to seeing the final color this fall.

A sea of vines. These 3 pumpkins are being grown off of the 1065 Corbin 2013 and the same plant. I know they will impress my wife's students and they will enjoy getting to guess the weight. The winners get to have them delivered to their house.

I have taken a lot of time away from the patch this summer. Catching fish is almost as good as growing pumpkins. The smallest is 18 inches and the meat is redder than a salmon. I love catching rainbow trout at the lakes around here!
