LOL   Saturday, June 25 View Page I pollinated this little pumpkin two days ago. This afternoon I noticed the stem had somewhat of a ribbon shape to it and had cracked open. So I cut it off. I thought it was a five lobed fruit.   Saturday, June 25 View Page But when I cut a cross section through this pumpkin, I discovered it had 6 lobes. As you can see it has not made it to the ground yet. So I think it is a little slow out of the gate so to speak. But it is on the main,has 5 lobes and is the fruit that I really want to grow.
