2145 McMullen south plant. This one thumps mighty sporty. Pumpkin is very wide and measured 410 inches yesterday.

Now for the big one. This is also a 2145 McMullen plant. The pumpkin resembles the 1625 gantner parent(the other 2145 looks 1756 howelle jovette to me). This one measures 430inches and will likely be a PB. Its getting a nice dill ring so I grit my teeth every time I look under the sheet. Three and a half weeks till jareds weighoff.

1781 zywiec fruit. 406 inches-plant had yellow vine disease since fruit was 20 days old. Fruit was thin and seeds were 60% developed when opened. ps. Ricky is modeling nicely cause I had hotdogs in my pocket

Crosses made this year; 1685.5 scherber( 800 McMullen x 2145 McMullen) 1420 scherber(2145 McMullen x 2096 meier) 1410 scherber(1790.5 Wallace x 2096 meier) 410" fruit grown on 1007.5 hodge x 2096 meier. 2096 meier was grown as a pollinator-had a long smooth white pumpkin biggest at the shoulders-was around 400 lbs 1781 zywiec x 2096 meier--406" seeds are poor quality
