last year i lost my pumpkin early on in the season , i planted oat , tilled it in this spring then i sprinkled straw with white clover seeds all this will be tilled in just before the pumpkin spreads i will just lay the vines and cover with promix to promote top root growth no heavy organic soil on the vine this year (trial number 1)

here the 1463hoelke , probably going to be the only plant growing this year at least i have it , it seems to be growing fine Its a bit behind but im sure it will catch up the leaves seems to have yellow spots , i get this every year in the beginning of the season , probably a lack of magnesium or manganese maybe due to a ph issue or cold soil ozone maybe , cant really tell anyway when it grounds itself a bit more , it wont lack anything hehe

1463 hoelke doing a bit better now, i had a problem with nutrient being locked up it was not a ph issue probably the organic matter in the soil combined with cool temperatures . i sprayed epsom salt and fish emulsion then drenched with seaweed tea and things got better I just bought a soil test kit (first time ever , its pretty basic but will give me a good idea of what i need in there)
