took down the rye cover crop and tilled a 3 foot perimeter around the 575 Wolf. added bone meal and blood meal to that area. Both 296 Barbers damped off. since 575 was at the end of the hoop I laid down weed fabric and put hoop and heater over one melon spot. put another 296 Barber in that spot.

575 Wolf is at 10 feet today and 388 Langley is at 8 feet. 575 has some nice sidevines going but 388 is still trying to recover from extensive wind damage. Good amount of rain scheduled for today. not sure why but one of the 296 barbers just up and died. so only one melon plant right now, have another seed germing and will go in once it pops soil. Giant maters all look good. 181 MacKinnon FP is trying to still recover from cold wet spell. its greening up finally. had to put cantaloupe back up in after wet period killed it. Carter marrow is a jumbled mess. looks like a nasty ribbon vine but its growing now. hopefully it will come out of it this week with warmer weather after todays rain. I'll try to get pics up this week also

Grew Carolina reapers this year. Put this in a mango salsa I made, it is amazingly good. Took a bite of just the pepper and it nearly floored me. But in the salsa it is bearable. Even my kid likes the salsa.
