The other Heavy(Giant) carrot is still putting out new shoots that go straight up but this one is putting out a cluster. Since I grow them on our balcony at our Apt I dont think they get enough sun. So they dont get as big as they should. I will be starting some new seeds that I received from Jorg Wagler from Germany. We start moving in on June 9th so wont have time this year to grow any giants but will take some time to get the soil ready anyway. Finally we will be able to just open up the back door and go tend to the patch(well next year) instead of driving 30 min one way. Man we miss growing...:)   Friday, July 3 View Page We have only been in our new house 6 days and we have our first load of manure hauled in. We have found a good source for Cow Manure, which makes us happy. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we are gonna try and have the patch ready for 2016 but if not up to specks then we will just have to wait till 2017. We are gonna do this right and not just pop in a plant or two just to grow.
