Got out recently and tilled. I also put up 2 hoops. Quite a bit bigger than last yrs. I had some issue with size but are stable now. With soil being frozen all winter I hope the organic matter breaks down better before planting.

Fall weigh off AG's look terrible from cold and insecticide burn. all kins have larges bases I've had for early plants. Line up has changed, but I still expect good things this yr. Growing 1 big plant(1200-1500sqft) at my parents in IL (753Glasgow13)big sturdy plant and hoping for big study pumpkin.

here's my crapkin. plant started off on fire, but I believe due to some root issues has fizzled and is only now growing well again. I still need to terminate all side and expect this kin to max out at 650#. it will go to local fair in august. At least the kids love it, maybe that's just what it needs to kick it up a notch.

Maybe this time? Pumpkin finally big enough for kids to climb on. Waylen has been asking forever. Finally made it to 300OTT and doing 10OTT every 3days. with the problems I had early on, I never thought it would get to est. of 500lbs, but know I'm thinking 800lbs. Maybe even more, plant is small but leaves are healthy.

Waylen's 161 from last yr. at 30DAP=260OTT. Cold weather hit at day 23 and numbers haven't recovered. Hit 9ott gain then down to half when cold hit, it is now back to 6.5ott. this will most likely be the only kin as I have lost all others.

After a promising start, the wheels have fallen off. the State fair kins aren't well. 1 stem a little wet and the other completely off the pumpkin. Poor waylen's kin slowed considerably on day 31 and after looking I found vine problems toward the stump. Vine is split now and trying to dry. Just a sad situation:(

3rd place @ IN State Fair. Well not what I wanted, but for a nutrient problem on a small plant I cant complain too much. 795.5# and 7% heavy. I will grow this same seed next yr. as I believe the potential is there for great results.

I'm so happy we were able to set another kin on Waylens 161 O'Brien13 plant or should I say vine. This kin is still growing steady from just 1 side vine. it's about 350#'s and he has another 100# on the other side. The plant its self was amazing and just wanted to grow unfortunately he lost main kin at 30DAP, which was selfed. Hoping to get kin to over 400 by WO.
