The 1387 Hopkins plant was perfect the nicest plant I ever had. But I lost it thanks to my neighbor flooding my garden out lost everything.I had high hopes for it.. Its a cannon ball from the war of 1812.Back when the US didn`t like Canada.But we`re all good now After WW2 My great grandfather bought a farm .While working the land (plowing) he found a few cannon balls. So looking into the history of the property. It turned out a general lived there after the war of 1812.And he had some surplus armor from that war..a cannon! It was said every New Year he would blast it off at midnight. I can piture that.
