Very unfortunate. The 1807 Stelts emerged from the soil today and exposed the fact that the stem was split lengthwise up to the leafs. I really wanted to grow this seed and finally got my hands on one in the OVGPG auction. It's season is over before it started. I am so bummed.

The 1512 C. Parks was open pollinated this past summer. We now have the 1103 Freshcorn. This is the first AG I've had make it to the end of the season. I was able to take it to the OVGPG weigh-off. What a great year for our family!

My Father-in-Law took this picture of our 1103 at sunrise back in September. I wanted to share it because we all thought it was so interesting.

I did not have a large seed count in my 1103. Most of the seeds I have look like the two in this picture. The seed's shell is not complete at the ends. Some have more white area than others. I am looking for any suggestions for what caused this. Is this due to a specific nutrient deficiency? It can't be an issue with maturing time. The pumpkin was pollinated on July 10 and picked on October 10.
