We had a great time at the Morton Pumpkin Festival weigh off yesterday. We took first place with our 1056 Hall, grown from the 1778.5 Daletas. Unfortunately it went 2.5 % light but still happy considering the plant was only 300 Sq ft. Looking forward to the Bengtson’s Farm weigh off at the end of the month, it’s going to be exciting.

I built a subsoiler for my tractor. Patch has been ripped in 3 different directions 18" deep. Really worked well and broke up the clay and hard pan. BetterEarth Premium Organic Compost comes tomorrow. Then cover crop, little late but may germinate before it's to cold.
