874.8 Geyelin, day 50, sitting right at 700 lbs. It has caught up and made my benchmark for 1000lbs. So 4 digits is not out of the question. More than I had hoped for when I planted it.

My Triamble squash plant just kept sprouting leaves at the stump so when I went to cut them all off I left this one on. About a month ago I left the sprouts from the stumps grow on all of my plants grow for a while in hopes of avoiding foaming stumps. I discovered that when I let them grow most of the sprouts ribbon vined. This happened on my Triamble squash plant as well as my AG plants. None of my plants displayed this anywhere else on the plant. This leads me to believe that the flat/ribbon vine trait is present in all cucurbita and is triggered by enviromental factors. Such as a plant with too much energy and no where to go with it. Like Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk.Or a giant squash?

874.8 Geyelin day 68 sitting somewhere north of 820 lbs.(820, day 65 est.) Still growing but slowing down.

A side view pic now that the leaves are getting worn. This plant is about 260 sq. ft. give or take. I'm not so good at figuring the square footage of a trapezoid shaped plant.

874.8 Geyelin day 80. No growth on this one in 10 days. Typically I dont get much growth after day 70 but no growth makes me nervous. I'm hoping there are no hidden issues somewhere. Frankly I think the plant is just exhausted. I week to go....

Here I am at Operation Pumpkin just before they reveal the official weight. I was explaining the best way to make them go heavy is to rub on them for good luck before they are weighed :)
