FlatNorm is excited about the 150 square foot contest this year and the idea of a not-flat pumpkin. With limited space available he marked out his patch and took some measurements. It seems he remembered enough flat-geometry to calculate that his patch is safely within the 150 sq. ft. limit.

Someone tried to explain to FlatNorm about backup plants but it seems he missed something. He will get a lot of practice when it comes time to cull seedlings. (this is what happens when you germinate 13 year old seeds)

15 May and FlatNorm learned how to cull plants in his 150 patch. He liked it so much he took out the 2 biggest plants before someone explained you can't put them back. Leave some for later.
