I know it is early but I'm a beginner and going to try anyway. This is 1,432 Northrup '09 X 1,008 Ebbet '10.
The guy may get killed by frost when he grows out of his tent but I'm giving it a shot.

This is a seed from 1818.5 Bryson '11. I'm really excited that it has actually germinated! I'd love to grow this.

JEB has been in the ground long enough that he is too long for his secure home. His home has been taken away and today he is under a make shift house of pvc and plastic. Hope the wind doesn/t harm it.

Bryson has been in the bathroom for two weeks and today he got put outside. The shock to his system is quite alarming. I'm hoping he will look okay tomorrow.

The rain came to an end and a little brightness was in the sky so I uncovered Jeb after not seeing him for several day. These flowers were quite a surprise!

Bryson seems to have gotten over the transplant job and he is looking pretty sturdy. There are a whole bunch of ants busy at work next to him. Hope they are nothing to worry about.

We have had terrific weather here in Maine. The plants seem quite happy. Now I need to figure out how to feed them properly.

It has been disappointing around here. My early pollinations never took. Now I have females pollinated today and some tomorrow but it is deadly hot.
I am hopeful though.

At last, I believe I now have a good pollination! This guy is 12 feet out on the main vine. This morning it looked bigger and happy. The soil is nice and wet and no heat stress anywhere. The heat is gone.

So early in the game and I am already having stress problems. My little Bryson, at 12 feet out, wouldn't lay down and now I see a slit in its neck. I think there was too much stress because it wouldn't lay down. The neck is thicker than the main vine.
