Plastic has arrived from Washington State.
If the weather cooperates I will skin the greenhouse on Saturday. If we have wind/storms I will attend the Ohio Seminar.

The weather was to good to pass up this weekend (80's on Sat/Sun) so I skipped the OVGPG spring seminar and got the plastic on!
I also started the 985 Werner for the Indiana State Fair. If the weather holds I will plant directly into the greenhouse.

Applied Round up the fall and state fair patches. Also, my 985 did not fully germinate (shot a tap root then quit).
The greenhouse is now completely closed up, I put the door on today.
Thanks to Tom Beachy for starting another 985 for me as well as a #50. He said the 50 is an aggressive early grower!

Day 40 985 Werner
No change in OTT.
The 1207 Bok plant appears to have early signs of virus and the side vine fruits have all aborted.
Right now the only fruit that is growing is the 1244 Rea.

1244 Rea started to seep from a crack that goes into the cavity. No weight will be taken but I will take final measurements.
This was my last giant pumpkin plant and fruit for 2012. I still have a watermelon, tomato and field pumpkin growing.
