1219...growing long and strong..., i'm squating so picture looks better than it really is. Pumpkin has very little hight, just past my shin but is quit long and wide. Nothing spectacular growth wise but still growing.

Saturday, July 30 View Page
1217 squash. Haven't measured lately but has to be pushing 400 lbs. Nothing spectacular but still putting on inches. Color should get better as we go, but displaying the same striping as her sibling did last year.

Affectionately known as "Mr.Bigger", has been surpassed by most in the patch...still creeping though. Deep initial ribs were of concern, but when your little girl names and claims 'em you gotta go with it;)

Now the 1037.5 Jarvis. (1217.5 Jarvis x 1002 Jarvis). Fairly good seed count, poor genetics;)

Thursday, October 13 View Page
1037.5 Jarvis. A shaded North facing posterior and some discoloring up front made this squash 'questionable', i'm thankful for the reasonableness of the judges (and for the help of Art and John when a grower is in neonatal need;) This could throw a large squash next year.
