I am in southwest New Hampshire. Had a heavy frost last night. How much longer can I keep them in pots? And is picking the biggest 3 plants the way to go

Friday, May 6 View Page
Transplanted the 3 I thought were the strongest. I still have 14 plants that I don't have a clue what to do with. Maybe just stick them in the garden ans see what they do.

I have decided to use Llama and Alpaca manure from the place up the road. I never heard of anyone using it. Anyone have any thoughts

I decided to listen to the pros. I expanded the patch from 120 square feet to 1107 sq ft

Friday, May 6 View Page
The patch to the right is for sunflowers and such, the larger patch is the veggie garden.

This soil seem to be from what was an old marsh. It appears very rich and the ph was higher than is normal for NH. I used a kit bought at Wally World, so I didn't get any numbers. I added 200 Lbs of lime between the three garden plots and 85 Lbs of 10-10-10. Saturday I will add about 10 or 12 yds of compost from the transfer station across the street and I have all the aged cow manure and Alpaca maure I can haul away. Don't have a dump truck, so, I guess its pickle buckets from work and fill the car. I think I have the "FEVER"

Four days in the hoop houses. It's been cold and rainy for as long as I can remember. My plants appear to be OK, maybe even grew a little. 47 degrees outside, 58 in the hoop houses. Rain predicted for the next day or 2 but warming up to high 60's low 70's. My patch is soup except for under the hoop houses.

Thursday, May 26 View Page
Finally stopped raining here this afternoon. The hoop Houses smell musty, gonna open them up tomorrow when its sunny and warm. The 1458 whittier seems to have doubled in size since it was planted. The Reinmiller seems to be just sitting there. must be a slow starter.

Weather has been really unsettled here. Sunday and Monday was super nice till about noon, then thunder storms moved in. More of the same for today, but nicer later in the week, possibly 80 for the weekend. The mud in the patch is preventing me from getting any more plants in
