He comenzado a preparar el huerto:
Desbroce de las malezas del otoo
Labor de fondo
Fertilizacin.
Google Translator:
New year and new life begins.
Although I am a cultivator of pumpkins, tomatoes and others, I have not grown Giants for more than ten years. Now I'm a little older and time is too much, so this year I want to grow some Giants
I'm not going to put any challenge because this first year I think I should take it easy.
I know that Genetics is a very important part, but land preparation, fertilization, irrigation management, etc. They are something that must be learned with use and experience.
Two things can happen:
1 That has the luck of the beginner and get something heavy and beautiful.
2 That he commits the errors of the novice and at the end of the year, only accumulate experience (something very important)
I have the best seeds, a good garden, abundant water, I could say that almost everything, but my experience is limited, only with your help I will get something important.
First of all to thank all those who have sent me seeds I will have you informed of how they are going.
I have started preparing the garden:
Clearing the weeds of autumn

Fertilization.

It's time to start the newspaper in this new season, for me the first. I have germinated several pumpkins (atlantic, atlantic orange and green squash), some seeds have not germinated, but I have enough plants to start the garden. I also have some plants of giant and local tomatoes (Egg of bull and Rose of Barbastro) as well as giant watermelons.
I have had problems with the seed of 2528 Gaddes that I received from an auction, the seed was quite empty and curved, at first I thought it would not be viable, but it germinated correctly, in time, but with a normal cotyledon and a dry one (Foto1) I have been practically stopped for almost two weeks, finally they have started to sprout the true leaves (Foto2) I hope it keeps growing and I can transplant it in a few days. At least it would be a good pollinator.
