We now have 100+ seeds to choose from... including 3 monsters... all self pollinated: The 2150 & 2112 Skinner and the 2118 WR Jutras Squash... Very excited about this lineup! We are hoping to have a huge selection of seeds!!!! We will have a seed pick at the end of the competition, and we’re hoping it will be a fun part of the challenge.

Uh... Ben we had this discussion, & you know I asked you to keep politics off our pumpkin diary. Well there he goes...
What are you Mr. Franklin.... some kind of Libertarian..?? This must be fake news. (Ben... why is the president responsible for Civil War and the personal income tax more popular than you...?)
We want to know how to grow blossom-down right everyone..?! Frankly, Ben, maybe you don't have enough pumpkin growing experience to be our mascot. We want pumpkin-growing tips not poli-tips !!!

How about some more temptation to try blossom-down this year?!? How about... (perhaps?) the best large orange producer ever... 1317 Clementz added to the prize list!!!!
How about one more great seed. Hopefully we can obtain one more. Please let us know if you have one you would like to donate... Thanks!

1916 Barron and 2002 Tobeck and 1812.5 Sherwood... sorry we could not put together a better prize pool with a 2145 or 2624.6 in it. Maybe next year! Grow one blossom-down this year because maybe we’ll replace the Benjamin with a bitcoin! (Yeah right... lol) but who knows... If you don’t give it a try this year you won’t be ready for next year!!!

We are getting towards Halloween so here’s a special guest to pay political tribute to this horrible day. Please welcome... uh I don’t know my Star Wars characters. But I can feel his hand around my throat... he is lifting me up. Aaagggggck.
But actually I’m not paying attention... I’m busy posting a reminder that the blossom-down growing competition ends (shall we say the day prior to???) Halloween!
We may not get many entries but oh well. Results will be up hopefully just prior to Halloween... Please put the tag 2018bdc with your diary picture displaying the official or unofficial weight so I can find and compile the results? Please email Glenomkins (me) rather than Blossomdownster(s) if you have questions about your entry. I will be more likely to see your email if it goes to that address.
Thanks & Happy growing!
Now if only I knew this dark guy’s name I could ask him to let go! Dude!!! I look like a tomato—you can let go now!

Great efforts everyone! The small cash prizes and great selection of seeds to pick from will be available soon.
Happy growing in 2019!
