YouTube a link to a video of my entire 2024 season crunched down into an under 10 minute video, if you're bored and in the mood for some winter pumpkin content.

Day 6 since breaching soil on the 2nd round of test plants. In the first round, my light was too bright. Adding a white dress shirt to block some of that light has helped a bunch with color. Little bit leggier this time but I'll get that fixed in round 3 (hopefully)

5.6 Bennett Eggplants, all ethylene treated at seed start. Some residual humic acid on the leaves because of some sloppy watering..oops. I'm pleasantly surprised how easy going these plants are to grow!

16 days from seed start and 14 from germination. Some funny looking 2nd leaves here and there, I believe due to some products I've applied that can mess with hormones (my pumpkins are all ethylene treated seeds as well as using some strong biological products). Week 2 in the books!

Busting out the hoop. Taking the mini hoops off really helped slow them down but dang I don't wanna have to remove my hoophouses quite yet...maybe I'll just wait until the secondaries have no more room left.

The pumpkins are all doing great, here's the 2670 Thompson which has been the best plant since day 1. The others (2177 Ford, 2560 Gienger, and 2465 Sperry) are not far behind!

My 2465 Sperry is up to bat next. Maybe tomorrow?

Got a nice 6 lober pollinated on the 2465 Sperry today. Crossed with my 2560 Gienger. Gave my 2670 males away, but - to a good cause. Funny thing is, this plant is growing exactly where my 1853 was last year (also a 6 lober) and landed in the exact same location at 18 feet out with 22 secondaries behind it. This 2465 started out really hating its life but has started to become an aggressive plant in the last couple weeks. This is now the second 6 lobe flower ive ever been able to pollinate
