I was surprised how dense the tomato was. It was ripe like 2 weeks ago but I left it on and it still was making growth cracks until the night before. It measured like a 3 lber.   Wednesday, August 30 View Page Underestimated how much space these guys need. A 4x4 bed just for one. Even with little rain, 1 out of 6 survived some kind of rot. I planted only 2 ft apart which hid the voles and rot. Always learning.   Wednesday, August 30 View Page Giant beet. These are fun. Can make a weeks worth of salad from one leaf. Voles absolutely love these.
