Cecil Weston- dont beat me :] There is order to my caos, making sure numbers are on the rise or atleast in the right direction so Im going the cheap route on soil test ..atleast for now so I know how much of what came in on the compost a couple months back and if I need to plan ahead to match the last bit of the patch to this or go a different route.

Its turning green to bad im only going to let it go as long as it takes to get a couple more ammendments here about another week but with an extreme warm streak for this time of year in the 60s and 70s the rye may be up about 3 to 4 inches by next week!

Monday, January 14 View Page
Incase anyone is wondering how much rain I have been getting the weather service has decided there is now a small creek on the map going through the middle of my pumpkin patch. It looked bad but nothing like the 4-5 yards I lost last time before my soil test was sent out maybe 1/4th a yard slipped under the silt fence as it amost bowled over the silt fence....fancy drainage ditch coming soon.
Monday, January 14 View Page
This is where i started at....results from feb 9th of last year the report is in lbs per acre so even lower than you think...just used the local extension on this one with a simple test

not bad considering we are under torrential flood warning right now, notice i did miss a little bit of the water on the left side...i will put in a smaller secondary ditch horizontal to the main dtitch so that water will feed into the main ditch overall sucess right side is still possible to walk on with good drainage no mud
