It was painted by local artist Nick Eck for our friends at the Oley Feed Mill to use in their stand at the Oley Fair. Estimated weight was 1,100 lbs.

The saddest part of the season was 1 1/2 weeks before weigh-off, the 1374 Engle showed signs of decay. When I cut it open, as beautiful as it looked, the flesh was only 2 inches thick. I think the 2 weeks of over 90 degree weather did it in.
