Started some tomatoes to try and whip graft into a double root system. Cover crop of Hairy Vetch and Red Clover has overwintered great and is growing well. Started some practice AG's in potting soil with myco to inoculate the seeds I plan to grow this year. I will start them April 8-15. Line-up this year is all California, 1784 Glasier, 1592 Urena, 1534.5 Glasier, 1080 Urena, 1174 Urena, 1138 Urena, 1503 Urena, 1452 Urena, 1602 Glasier. Monday, April 7 View Page Finished tilling on Friday (4-4) added 3 bails of peat, 50 lbs of sulpher, 15 lbs of AZOMITE in the main patch in the backyard. Tomorrow we will start the seeds finishfinish putting up hoop houses and maybe finish the kid's patch at the neighbors, that might have to wait till Friday when I have the day off work. Sunday, April 13 View Page 1784 Glasier and 1592 Urena are both pushing through the soil double hoop houses are up and are getting warm. We will start the girls seeds next week. Friday, April 18 View Page Started 1553 Glasier, 1503 Urena, 1174 Urena, 1138 Urena last night for the girls patch. Weather has been hot here, highs in the mid 70's normal is in the low 60's. It makes it difficult to moderate the temp in the hoophouse, I just hope that I don't cook my plants one day while I'm at work.
