It came as a complete surprise to me; becoming invited again to the Virginia Pumpkin Festival in Virginia, Ireland! And, again, what an invitation it was! Ryan Air flights free of charge to Dublin Airport and back and staying in luxury Park Hotel Virginia for free.

Staying at Park Hotel Virginia in Ireland for the weigh-off is a blessing. The place was built for a lord in 1670. And I felt like a king staying in it. Eating in the dining room with great atmosphere. Walking in the great surroundings belonging to the hotel: forest, golf course, rose garden, greenhouse, etc. The following pictures show the beauty of nature surrounding the hotel, followed by pictures of the weigh-off.
