It ended up with some kind of disease and rotted from the inside out long before halloween. I believe this plant was a 756 Sherwood. It's either self polinated or it polinated with a zucchini since I had no other pumpkin plants growing this year. I have this unknown puss coming out of the pumpkin in multiple spots and it looks like significant rotting on the knuckle were the stem meets the main. I think it's mostly due to the flooding and 85% humidity with 85+ degree days for the last month. Sunday, August 15 View Page Went out to the patch todat to find that the rotting had accelerated.
