Tuesday, July 14 View Page Today did first ott measurements on my three largest melons out of 8 that have set fruit.These were the earliest set:1) 316 Edwards = 130 ott, 2)253 Mudd =142, 3)296 barber = 138.All three pollinated on 6/20,6/21 .All three plants using all of they're allotted 17'x17' per plant space with minimal pruning involved.Lost my 257 plant to fusarium wilt(total plant overnight collapse),and my (2) 241.5 spence, sib(1) 316 edwards,(1) 253 neptune and (1) 162 mitchell all have nice well set fruit pollinated between 6/26 and 7/1.
