Here is a view of next years pumpkin patch which represents half of my allotment. Lots of digging to get rid of the mares tail, bindweed and thistle This half that has not yet been worked or grown on since I acquired the plot the Autumn of 2008.

View of from the top of one half of the plot. Onions and garlic planted in top half of big netted cage and in right hand side netted area. Grazing rye sown in left hand netted area which is next years pea and bean patch. Bottom of big netted cage is for next years brassicas half of which needs digging, the other half is sown with grazing rye for digging in in spring.
