The plant is growing great. It is pushing out secondaries and growing about 8" per day. Since I set up a sprinkling/misting system the burning/heat stress issue has been eliminated. The main vine and all secondaries are being buried every evening. Tuesday, June 1 View Page Here is my sprinkling system. I have an electronic timer set at 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00. I installed 2 strands and will be adding 1 more.....hopefully this helps. The dog entered the patch after I used Neptune Harvest Fish Fertilizer. He dug around where I applied the fertilizer. I guess he was looking for fish to eat. Has this happened to anyone. How can you stop the dogs from entering? It was checking a scrape 25 yards away......It is a 10 pointer and grosses 131".
