Well finally started working on the patch. Spread some Bone meal and Gypsum today. Plan on spreading ashes tomorrow. Pretty soon should get it tilled when it dries. Also started working on a trellis that isnt quite sturdy. IT will need a little more support then should be fine.Good luck to everyone this season, and if anyone has any advice about LG's shoot me an email i would be glad to hear it.

Heres a picture of my growlight setup. Kudos to JDFan He pretty much showed me exactly what to get and where. Cost around 27 bucks 10 for the lights 12 for the shop light unit and 5 bucks for a chain. It is suspended from the ceiling.

Last but not least the 710 Bosworth wants to say hello.

2 1370's will be double planted , and the 710 will back up the 1622. and since NEITHER of my two 313 tacketts germinated(weird all my other ones did) i have a 1162 backing up the 1467. I will have 3 plants in my smaller patch. These are the 3 i am going for records with. After these are in the ground i will start seeds for 6 other spots in my other patch. Mostly for give aways. Wont bury vines after probably mid june. If i get behind i will concentrate on my main 3.

I forgot to mention broke tip of root on 710 when planting may have slowed it a little but its coming up!

now im nervous the 1467 was starting to root but no leaves the reasoon is was showing was from watering it.... hasnt moved soo carefully dug around and found it hadnt grown any and was just showing signs of starting to rot. I put it in a hot room and put some dryer soil around it.....Fingers crossed. Starting a 1355 Bhaskaran in case.

Learned over watering the hard way......the 1467 perham is lost. That hurts i had high hopes for it. Got a 1355 bhaskaran started. it has rooted and is in pot. Dan has been pushing me to just grow a second 1370 C/P hmmm.....

On a good note long gourds i had given up on. i checked the pot today because i was going to dump it and use it. i had a baggie over it for mouisture when it was in the cooler/ germinating chamber. They wasnt much soil in the pot maybe 1/3 full. I took the baggie off and there was a plant top of the pot looking for sun. filled it up to the top with dirt and under teh light it goes!

The long gourd is a 54" mcwilliams. I am starting a few 131 schnicker watermelons tonight. Warm and not to much moisture.....

Plants are in the ground today. Triple planted the 1370 backed the 1622 with the 710. The 710 didnt look to good we will see if it responds. I also backed up the 1355 with the 1162 C/P. They all have wind protection which i might work on next time im in the patch. PRAY FOR NO MORE FROST! Will start seeds for the other patch later tonight. Long Gourd plants will also go in the ground tonight.

Thank you!!!!! Finally 7 day outlook looking good! Hopefully plants bounce back. Started 450 Mcwilliams 948 Young, 972 Bhaskaran a700 Young, and 731 Pingrey i think. Had it too cold only 79to 81 threw away 450 700 and 731. 972 germed. Started new 731 and 450 no backup for 700. scared to start my other 948 so i took the case of the one after waiting a few more days with no germination. After i took the case off stuck it straight in the pot. After 16hours root is started! yes! Deciding to only do 4 plants in the otehr patch with a few watermelon.

Visited the patch. everything looked fine except some vines came unbarried? ithink with all the rain and the wind. i staked everything down and headed home only for another storm even worse to hit.
