Well figured I'd start a diary a bit easier to show the plants instead of trying to describe the issues. Well here is a pic of the 1136, double main vine issue. This is the biggest plant I have the 1596 Wallace and 1164 Finders are the other 2 and 1287 Gansert as a back up. 1596 was off to a slow start but is picking up now.

Here's the 1164 slowed right down but seems to be picking back up. a few yellow spots had one leave realy bad but the wind took care of that one (think the plant was a little cold). put wind protection up with clear plastic to keep some extra heat, thermometer is reading 85-90's now so I'll keep it up till it out grows it.

Well something going on with the 1596 again. The spots are Lighter green and almost translucent. Could this be from the cooler weather I wonder?

Came out this morning and seen the 1136 laying down(my first thought "oh good finally") until I went over and it was yet again pinched over.I propped it up again it wasn't that bad this time. I cut off the leaf underneath it that was keeping up too. It is about 13 feet long right now and appears to be a female on the end. So if time goes right I may be able to set it at the right time...(If I get any males. Might add some bloom buster tomorrow.

Tough to get an accurate measurement, b/c I'm not really sure how to go about measuring it?? Still growing though had to put some supports under it to keep from growing on top of the stem.

Her's the other side of the 1287 Gansert.. This is the only pupmkin I have...The 1136 Connelly would not grow a pumpkin they would die off 7-10 days in pulled that plant july 24 got tired of wasting time. and te other one all the pumpkins would get going but they's explode 20 or so days out. Still have a lot of work to do with my soil so better luck next year.
