pollinated may 30, circ=49 OTT=115 weight=40 am now swithching between 3 fugicides with differant active ingrediants and am having good results. two large tree branches fell of this plant close to stump and the damage is leveling off. sprayed fish E. 4 first time and have about 3 leaves that look burned around edges but am hoping damage will be limited.wishing everyone better luck than me Mary

circumferance 56 ott 129 weight about 55, not a stellar week but everyday is a personal record, have bought lots of goodies for plants like seaweed, fish E, and some calcium nitrate. worked on buring vines (better late than never) and will hope for best. Hot here about 95 average so will be looking into how to mist plants, so the learning and work continue. Wishing all the best to pumpkin troopers everywhere!!

Added cloth and sand so broomhilda would be safer from grass and pests. The new sand took 4 inches off my measurments and i am very sad. When its going slow every inch is welcme.LOL LOL circumferance is up to 58 so not all is lost. Id like to say thanks to all who take time to answer all newbi questions.
joke(why my pump. didnt make weigh off)-Rodent lobby petioned government to use eminent domain laws to convert my pumpkin into low income housing for retired lab mice.

Well this is my last entry for this yr and while mine are not giants all the kids around here are way impressed.Im still logging in daily to scan some of my fav. diaries and to keep up with questions that are being posted. Id like to say that ill be resting but my backyard will be getting a makeover so that next yr i can (try to haha)apply all the info fellow growers have given to us, or guided us to in the form of links, books, pictures and all the rest.SINCERLY THANKS Mary and Family.
