the plants have been doing well, all cloches are off, just pollinated the 1314.5 beauchimin selfed. The next one that will be ready is the 769.

the 1314 beauchimin is roughly 5 days old crossed w the 769 and is softball size
the 868 marsh crossed with the 769 is 3 days old and looks like its taking.

Well the 1314 beauchemin is at 67lbs and has to be about 17 days old. The next is the 868 marsh which is about basketball size maybe a hair bigger. The 1110 and 1347 are followed and only 7 and 8 days old and are just a bit smaller than mini basketball and the 1347 is weird shaped and LONG! Pollinated the 993 and 769 2 days ago and the 1248 ford yesterday!

all pumpkins are doing okay, rained heavily last night and today, put on some 0-0-60 murate of potash and with the rain the gains seemed to increase already, hope it doesnt have an adverse affect! Im still on pace for 1,000lbs but hoping they will keep growing

this was supposed to be the 1110 wallace crossed with the 1347 wallace! Two 1370 rose and 2 1068 in this cross, what color, shape and over 850lbs This will be a great cross for next year too, plus shape and color! Started out green!

Well its been a good year, maybe going to have one break a thousand and one 1314 beauchimin fell at 980lbs cuz I had to pluck it for the fair or it would have went 1100 range but whatever. Next year control vine borers, powdery mildew, more water, better soil, more fets, and less plants!
