I hate my wheel barrow. That was 10 yards of triple mix taken to the back yard and all the sod removed from the back yard. However, my arms and back muscles are like steel now. My good luck charm is the gargoyle in the back corner. He is lit up at night with some solar spot lights and keeps the kids out of the garden.

Hello! I am back after a 12 year layoff from growing. Some may remember me from the old mailing lists ƒº ¡§Troy Nayler¡¨. I kept all my seeds in containers in the freezer and fought the wife off from throwing them out all these years. I still have lots of seeds from other growers and have shipped seeds to anyone who asked all over the world. I test started some seeds from 1997 with success. It was fun to see if it could be done. The genetics these days seem to be so much better than when I stopped growing. I could not help but try some newer seeds. I did not know where to start looking for seeds at this late date (end of April). I used to belong to the OSLG association and the seed raffle was second to none. Not sure what happened to them. I thought about trading seeds but I Really had nothing to trade with so I decided to search the net and saw my old buddy Ray Waterman¡¦s (P & P seeds) web site and got a few seeds from there. Then I found Mr Hollands site and got some seeds and supplies from there. I then visited my local Hydroponics store and bought some much overpriced secret goodies. Now on to the seed selection for this year;

Main seed – 1400 ‘09 Holland (1385 Jutras X 1142 VanKooten) Pollinator – 1505 ‘09 Holland (1161 Rodonis X 1385 Jutras) Backup/Pollinator – 1121 ‘07 Bobier (845 Bobier X 898 Knauss) 1400 is doing great. It is at its 3 leaf stage and showing the compressed ball of leaves that make up the main vine. This was a direct start from the ziplock into the main spot with heating cables and the hoop house made from rebar and 2x heavy plastic with 1500 watt electric heater. 1505 was my main seed but it was hard to germinate and the 1400 that I started a week after exploded out of the shell and the 1505 got left for dead. I decided to plant it in the garden anyways and I checked it today, there are some small roots showing so it may grow after all. 1121 is in the back corner and has the first leaf starting to show now.
