1205 young on 5-2-12. It popped and then stalled. stayed yellow for about 4 days, had a very small tint of green, and Curt and I thought it was gone. then after about 6 days I looked at it again and it was a touch more green. repotted it , it took off and.....

last evening between 4pm and 6 pm(not sure cause I wasnt home) we got a horrendous(sp?) downpour. suspect about 2 inches in 1/2 hour. this wheelbarrow was empty before I left for work that morning. many homes to the west of me hade their basements flooded. from 1"to 2 ft or maybe more. I was lucky only about 100 gallons thanks to my neighbor willing to clear my floor drain outside my basement door.

First Attempt at “ala Saxton LG s “ Ingredients 8 LG s… 8-9 inches long ½ in diameter cut 1 ½ -2 inches boiled at boiling 3 min in salt water. Drained and set aside. 1 cup Calvatia Bonvista (wild puff ball mushrooms or your personal preference) 2 rounded tbsp of minced garlic or 6 diced garlic cloves Heat 12-14 inch fry pan 1/8 cup olive oil 2 c Swiss chard stems Save leafs. 1 lb polish kielbasa ¼ tsp Season salt ¼ tsp Black pepper ½ tsp Italian seasoning Parmesan cheese to taste is optional Preparation Low to med heat gas stove Add boiled lgs, cloves, chard stems, cover, watch until stems are soft, stir frequently Cut kielbasa into 1-1 ½ in pieces. (for 1-2 people use ½ of meat.) set aside. After 5 minutes add mushrooms (optional) Cover, sauté for 2 min Add season salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning stir in. add meat, cover, reduce heat, stir frequently. Simmer. Start chard leafs as to preference Boil add to fry pan , your preference. Serve with bake tater and or biscuits.. When chard leafs are done cool for 5 mins and serve.
