Monday, August 23 View Page what a strange sight. seemed ok a couple day ago. went out yesterday morning and about 1/2 of my plant was wilted like it had gotten no water, but it had. looked at the stump and this is what I saw. the white powder is baby powder, I took one pic then powdered it heavy, went in to download pic and it didnt take so I brushed it off and then used water to get the rest off. then took another pic. I will go back out and put more powder on it cause that is all I can afford right now(hope it helps) tell me what is happening, cause I dont know. It looks dry, kinda chewed up, scarred. Curt will be down on Wed nite. please feel free to give him suggestions or comments. I am excited my new PB, not sure what is weighs yet but it is bigger in size than last year. the other two 'kins measure at 18 in and 10 1/2 in. pollination was by nature a 2 or 3 days later, I am presuming it was selfed also cause no other kins around. it is the 160 Saxton 09 seed. hope they continue growing well. #2 is gaining about 2 inches a day.
