I found these under the canopy while I was weeding around the Doucet Plant. They are full of eggs. I have had alot of squash bugs around but I dont think that these are the eggs from those. Anybody know what they are. I will post more pictures following this one.

these were on the leafs on the Doucet plant. Some on top some on bottom side. They have some string that is like a spiderweb on them or around them. I dont know if its holding them on or just there, not all of them had it.

The 1156 Hunt is going pretty good despite the heat. It has a 4 lober set on 6/15 at 9' that is at 98"OTT and a 4 lober set at 17' on the 26th. Most of the vines are terminated so its almost time for it to switch gears.

Here is my 848 MacKenzie Squash plant. A 5 lobe was set at 12' on the 23rd and a 4 lobe on the 26th at 15' out. The plant was having trouble producing sidevines early so I may have to get creative with some of the 3rd growth.

My 765 Privitera or my wifes I should say, she decided she wanted it to be her plant so thats cool. It has a 4 lobe set out at 12' on the 23rd. Nice football shape so I hope it goes heavy for her.

My 1019 Garvell plant has been pretty agressive so far. I have got 3 pollinated on it and its pretty much most of the way deadheaded. A 4 lobe at 12' set on 6/15 with an OTT of 92", a 5 lobe set on the 24th at 17',and a 5 lobe set at 20' on the 27th.

My 1154 Doucet plant has been agressive also. I burned this one pretty bad with Seven (will never spray it again) a week ago so I hope it doesent set it back to badly. All of the pumpkins except the last 2 have aborted so far. The main snapped off after trying to go skyward before the bamboo stakes which left me with a 18.5ft main. both of the last 2 pumpkins were set on consecutive nodes at 17' and 18'. Both 5 lobe and pollinated on the 25th.

My last remaining O.S. Cabbage plant. It is getting a nice head on it but the past 2 weeks 90+ temps have not been kind to it. I have a 4 outlet mist head over it and it helps alot but only time will tell.

My 1154 Doucet had me worried for a while, it put on 58lbs one day and I was waiting on her to blow. It has slowed down now and looks like it will be a rather good looking pumpkin if it makes it through the season. Its at 33 days in the pic.

Well the 1156 Hunt has been a great plant. It hasnt shown any signs of growth for 13 days now to its going to the scale in the morning if I dont find any problems on the bottom of the fruit. The measurements were.
Cir.- 142
Side to side - 90
Stem to blossom - 89
OTT 321 at day 57
Est weight 697lbs
We will see what the scales say.

Well after it quit growing I finally cut my 1156 Hunt pumpkin and took it to a certified scale. OTT put the weight at 697lbs and it weighed 696lbs at 57 days old. I am happy with that to say the least. I beat my PB set last year by 600lbs exactly. This is one picture on the scale. (the small towel wasent on for the weighing)

1154 Doucet Day 58 356" OTT 949.9lbs. I am happy with the way the season has went so far, beat my monster 96lb prizewinner from last year by 600lbs with my 1156 Hunt. First year growing AG's new patch I have learned alot and its been a fun ride so far. Thanks John for the seed and every grower on here that posts. I have learned alot just from reading old posts and I think it realy helped my season this year.

1154 Doucet taped 378" OTT 1129.9lbs est. yesterday on day 79. The cool weather we have been having has really slowed growth down alot. Hopefully it will pick back up some with the nice weather were having now. I am going to put the plant under Remay when it cools back down to try to keep it going. 12 more days until harvest and 13 til the weighoff in Elkin.

6 days to harvest. Pumpkin had almost stopped growing until we had 2" of rain the last 2 days. I wouldnt have measured if the surface cracks hadent started lengthening. So I taped it earlier. New OTT 381" 1157lbs est.
