Pic of the wtermelon cradle I used last year, it was made from white pine wood and erosion control fabric. The weight of the melons was too much for the white pine, however I did'nt lose a melon to rot and the bottoms looked great.

I messed with these giant onions last year, I got the seeds late and was still able to grow some decent onions. this year I planted a 50ft row and they are doing good. They make great onion rings BTW.

I lost the 274 Kent so I planted a Super Beefsteak hybrid mater and about 10 giant sunflowers. I Had two backups available but they were root bound, and it would be pushing it, just to late in the year now.
