The plant I chose to grow is the 1134 Landry. I like it because it has 500 Northrup in it so it will have nice color. I wish I had an 898 Knauss to cross it with, but I won't be able to find one. I will have to figure out what I will cross it with in a little bit. The 1134 started well and will be put in the ground in 2 days. Wednesday, May 14 View Page The 1134 is now in the ground. I don't want to bother will all the fancy hoop houses and such, so I am only using this garbage can. It should prevent frost and block the wind. Sunday, May 18 View Page The 1134 Landry. Hopefully it can grow me a big one this year. I am not sure what to cross it with yet. I will have to figure it out soon though. Sunday, June 22 View Page Here is the 1134 Landry. Doing pretty good for my first season I think. I can't wait until pollination, but that will be a couple weeks since the main is only 4-5' long. Hope everyones season is going well so far. Grow em big. Friday, July 11 View Page Pollinated this 5 lobe on my 1134 today. Hopefully it takes. I pollinated it with a 1248 Ford.
