Started my plants today. Started some 1127, 1339.5, 1343, and 558.5. Let's hope the 1339 and the 558 do well as those are my top choices to plant

Borrowed a tiller for the gracious Countykid today. Was going to start tilling tonight, but beer and good conversation prevailed and it was dark by the time we got home.

Gorgeous day today, no rain in the forecast and not to hot out yet, 8am is the perfect time to till up the gardens! Man this old Troy Bilt is a workhorse. my 30x50 patch was tilled under in less than 2 hours, and tilled up a brand new area for Kaleighs vegetable and giant taller things garden lol.

Weather was again gorgeous today. Picked my best plants and brought the rest to another grower who needed some started ones. I chose the 558.5 (my pers best from last year) and the 1339.5 Vincent. Should be two great plants to cross. Both of them look great and are a very goos size. Got the two in the ground. Put in 1 1/2lb of Microiza in each potting hole and watered with seaweed solution. Let's hope this baby's take off and give me a new PB this year.

Plants are all doing good. Some of the new leaf growth is yellowish, so tonight I drenched with Crop Booster, fish and Ca. Hopefully that will help things out a bit.

Well, the rain has started again, looks like rain rain and more rain until Friday, and then Rain again. Good thing, as my well isnt up to the task this year with the drought we have been having.

Well, the rain had subsided for another day. Still waiting on my pumpkins greening up, calling for one more day of rain and then pure sun for 5. Hopefully that will help things out.

Bought a new toy tonight. This puppy pumps 2.0GPM. Worked awesome, cut my spraying time in half tonight.
Put on some 20-20-20, some fungicide, insecticide, and some fish tonight. Hoping the sun that is on its way does my plants some good.
The 1339.5 Vincent-Mcgill 09 is doing really good. Followed closely by my own PB the 558.2 Leeworthy 08.

Plants are still somewhat stunted and new growth is very stunted. Not even out 6' yet on any of the plants. Still alot of rain and high winds. Applied some Phortress and Superman last night with some seaweed. Hope this helps. Nice and sunny today, but calling for rain again all weekend.

Pumpkins starting to do a little better since using Phortres, seaweed and Superman. Main vines have stopped growing completely, and now training secondaries on both plants to replace main. Looks like they are doing good, and new mains are taking off like crazy.

Sprayed plants again tonight with Seaweed, Phortress and Superman. Plants are really greening with the above combo, and new mains are doing amazing. Weeded patch again, and buried vines on both plants.

Well, Things just arent going my way this year. Decided I would go out and do some patch work, bury some vines and cut off some tertiary vines, in the process I cut to far and clipped of the growing point on my new secondary trained main on the 558.2. Unless another secondary grows in the heat within the next day or so, that plant is basicallt toast for the year. On the bright side the 1339.5 Vincent is doing well. Still no females, but my deficiency has slowly slowed things down for me. Hopefully by next week I will have a female, and I can get the ball rolling.

well things are slowly on the up. I have a great fruit set on the 1339.5 Vincent, not very big yet, but shape is very nice. I completely ripped out my 558.1 Leeworthy, as the stump was full of SVB larvae and tons of cucumber beetles were seen on every flower. Atleast that way only one plant is going to get all the water now when it rains and they wont be competing for the moisture, which is really laking this season in my area.
