Just getting ready to plant this week when I discovered this wrinkled leaf thing on my pumpkins in pots. Anyone know what it is? Maybe aphids? I cut off the leaf and sprayed. I hope it's not CMV... starting some new ones in case my three don't make it.

The pumpkins and marrow are ready to put in the ground but just developed a crinkly leaf on them. Hope it does not become a problem. Weather's been absolutely beautiful this spring but you never know here-today a cold front moved in. Want to plant them outside this week after the cold front is gone.
Here are the pumpkins-
751 Todd 11
448 Cabossel 11
50 Todd 10 trouble germinating restarting
Just started as a backup the 1048 Grande as well..
and the 1068 Todd. All will be planted.
Also have ready to plant-
62 Cabossel 11 (marrow)
and that's it for my 6 spots to grow AGPs.

Well, I cut the crinkly leaf off of each plant and it has not come back-the other new leaves are getting BIG. I haven't planted yet, still waiting for the nights to be a bit warmer..

Geez were have I been! Just checked my own diary and saw I haven't written much down. Everything is planted as of first week of June. Record breaking heat down here and dry dry dry but plants are growing well. Bad year for leafhoppers in garden but pumpkins are still covered with row cover and will be till I need to pollinate. So busy planting the big veggie garden this year I forgot to post! Only disappointment so far is I could not get the 50 Todd to germinate but have one seed left to try again next year. Was gonna use it as a pollinator as it helped produce the CO state record.
