Props to Ron and my kumpa Rog. I am going to have two patches. Ron hopefully will send me some seeds... Heres goes nuthing... lol So that will be my second patch. Here goes nothing!!!!! I still have to till it up... but I will have it ready by transplant time! Just gotta find a tiller... Sunday, April 27 View Page Well Im trying it on my own... I let an 880 Reinsvold soak for about 9 hrs and 107 Rahe just incase I have screwed up. Unsure of what kind of soil to use. I might just be trying to hard too soon... I honestly will be happy with any kind of pumpkin i get this season... If ne... with out a tiller... I am kinda outta luck.... Monday, April 28 View Page 880 Reinsvold in planter as of 230pm and back on heat source. Tuesday, April 29 View Page Put the 1047 Rahe 07 in potting soil at 1030am this morning.... My Reinsvold lost its heat for atleast 4 hours last night... Hopefully I can get one of these to open up. Wednesday, April 30 View Page 880 Reinsvold is showing so action... Its almost getting ready to push the seed up above the soil... All other ones are just dormant right now... the reinsvold is bulging also... Shes about to open up soon... Getting excitied!!! I might have acutally done something right... Still have to turn the soil... have no tiller ... just a shovel... fun... fun... Thursday, May 1 View Page And we have lift off.... lol... 1048 Rahe germinated, 880 Reinsvold germinated, and the 886 the smaller Rahe germninated also... Move outside to get some good sunlight for a while.... Wednesday, May 7 View Page 1048 Rahe 07 and I don't know what the other seed is cuz i lost the package... but that one is moving on to its second leaf... The 1048 Rahe 07 is the smaller one... I know that the bigger one is a Rahe also and from 06 but I can't remember the number... Wow... These things are growing fast... Friday, May 9 View Page Trying to resist the temptation to put the plants in the ground... I have one... that I am still trying to find the info on... and a 1048 that are doing great.... I might try crossing them if i can... Just trying to grow something big. Friday, May 16 View Page Well... The 1048 rahe is in the ground.... Yes I know it was late but I wanted to make sure the root system was ready... And boy was it ever.... It was begging to get out of that pot and into the ground. I planted them in a nutrient pit using potting soil.... Also put a lil 7 on it to get rid of some of the ants I saw on my 06 Rahe that has been in the ground for a week... Im worried about this one because the winds got up to 20mph at sometimes... Im not sure it was ready to withstand that... I am gonna give it a couple of weeks and see what happens... Here goes nothing Thursday, May 22 View Page And then there was one. :( The last plant that i have left... It seems to be thriving though. Been hit by strong winds and cold nights. But the forecast is for sunny weather and warmer temps. I'm giving this everything I have. So... Now 1048 Rhae 07... whatz next... lol Friday, May 23 View Page As advised by mr. kent... I put some more soil up to were the cots used to be... I also gave it a good watering this morning and some plant food when i added the soil that needed to be added.... Honestly I will be happy with nething I get... Sunday, June 1 View Page Yeah its been a while since I entered anything. Well she doing pretty good I guess. This is my first try... The biggest problem for me is keeping the ants off of it. But despite all that... The 1048 Rhae 07 seems to be doing alright... Hopefully things will continue to grow great.
