Now have I started with a new Grower Dairy. Hope it will be interesting for you other growers. Will try to update as often as possible. Before this year, it was not so successful pumpkin year. But I learned a lot after that year. Even if you are in the best condition you can always try to improve something. Hard work is a condition for our success. But even if I do not grow a real giant, it is still most important for me to have fun. One thing I did last year I went to Germany with two of my other friends from Sweden. To the European Championship in pumpkin growing. It was very nice to meet so many growers in one place. Several of the growers I have talked to before on Bigpumpkins.com very nice to meet you, and some of those I had only heard about. Hope that I will go there once more, Depending on if I grow a big pumpkin. This year's weather has been very snowy, and this winter has been the longest and most snowy winter as I can remember. Usually I could be out working on my garden this time of year. I will try to get my seeds planted in May, though it depends a bit on how the weather will be. This year I will only grow one plant to get a giant. Pretty risky to just grow one pumpkin plant. Unfortunately, no time and place for more than one plant. But it can also be an advantage to only have one pumpkin plant - You can give the maximum of care, etc ... etc….etc One thing I have to say - thank all the amazing growers!!! There are so many growers who share both seeds and experience. Hope I can do the same for you sometime – grow them big and have fun! Regards / Albin Helgesson
