This is the only pumpkin growing on the only plant I got. I had a very late start this year, this seed didn't see dirt until June 17th. I have been quite busy and I haven't had the time to care for it. This plant grew care-free until the beginning of August, except it was watered every night by the sprinklers. Despite all of this, I am extremely thankful to have a pumpkin growing. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with this late-set fruit. This one is probably done growing. Growth really slowed down around day 30 as temperatures started to drop. I had fun watching this pumpkin grow. We accurately measured the pumpkin at the weigh-off: 282 ott for an estimated weight of 504 lbs, so it pretty much went exactly to chart. I am still very happy with this new personal best!
