Saturday, April 26 View Page Ordering supplies for growing season. I am going to use Fish Emulsion this time. I also have found a spice that will kill bugs. I tried it out on my Squash Plants. It either kills them or deters them. Because they are gone now and I did not sqeesh them. I would have never thought of using it but I saw it used on a vegetable growing show. I have been experimenting my squash plants for what I will be doing to my Pumpkin plants. I am growing Zuccinni, Pink Banana, Yellow, and some other Heirloom varieties. I have tested different soils, different mulch, different fertilizer, ETC. I will take the best growing and use that for my pumpkin growing. Sunday, April 27 View Page I hand polinated my squash plants 3 and 4. Plant 3 has double blooms. They are different variety of same type squash. I am growning the giant Zuc's also. Just testing thingg out for my next pumpkin growing. Monday, April 28 View Page Starting my Nasturtiums in pots for later transplanting. Squash Bugs don't like them. I am going to place them around my Pumpkins and Squash.
