Friday, April 18 View Page My patch isnt ready yet, only thing to do is wind brake. I decided how do it so it will be soon. Unfortunately I didnt get my field pumpkins seeds yet. I need them soon. This year I will have 5-6 plants on main patch. Didnt decided back up yet. Im also planting a lot of other kind of pumpkins and veggies. my line up isnt set yet, only know that Im planting 1450 Wallace for sure. Friday, April 18 View Page My brother doing very well. He is now 2 months old and weigh over 5 kg. He is growing very fast, same as AG's....lol Friday, April 18 View Page I got my heat mat today, thanks Ray Im very happy from this. I also know that Im not type of lucky man, I really had hopes to find 1407 Wolf for this season, I very wanted win 935 and 801 on raffle, but I cant change it. Friday, April 18 View Page The worst thing in growing giant pumpkins for me is this that Im not whole time near my patch. Unfortunately my patch is over 60 kilometres from my house, I have watering there. When my shool year ends on 20 June Im sitting there whole time till my shool starts at 1 September. Thats maybe why my pkns are not so huge, Im not as you all near them whole time, but this is last year when Im not near them. We are already building own home with garden. I decided already when my patches will be. Its great because I can be then whole season with not going anywhere. I must wait yet one year, this will be my last season on this area and the next will be at new house with garden. I'll be planting there also but this patch will be the most important. I cant wait for next year with new house but Im so excited with this season also. My pumpkins growing very good, Im so happy from them. I didnt post because now I have end of school term and Im so busy. I have few picsa of my pumpkins. I have giant marrows, sunflowers, corn and other pkn varietes growing too. In weekend Ill post everything about my pumpkins, and what pumpkins Im growing because I didnt say what germinated and what was in final line-up. Wednesday, June 25 View Page I have in my patch five main plants: 1370- growing good but had double vine 1446 werner- I had problems with this plant, because she didnt grow so good as other, now she is doing better but is smaller than others 1005.9 werner- nice plant 1032 daletas- nice, strong plant 1445 marsh ( 1407 wolf x 695 handy )- also nice plant I have 3 back up's: 994 hunt, 857 christensen for orange and 848 mackenzie x self for a squash. The 857 and 848 x self dont growing so good but we will se. Here is 1032 Daletas Wednesday, June 25 View Page Here is my tall corn, dont know why this is so small. Maybe my patch is looking like a chaos, because there is a lot of other plants like grass etc but Im going to take it out. I didnt have time during the school term so Ill do that now.
